Months after Patricia Tumulak left the noontime variety program “Eat Bulaga,” the beauty queen is set to grace our television screens again as she has just been announced as the new talent under GMA Artist Center. In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Patricia shared that leaving the show was considerably a normal change in her lifestyle. She also finally decided to open up about this during the talk.
“For me, timing is everything and change is good. Personal naman din siya, but I’m happy with the result, yung mga Dabarkads supportive sa akin. Siyempre nami-miss ko sila. Iba ang live, e, iba yung energy na nakakatawa. And, nag-uusap naman kami. So for me, kailangan din, change is inevitable and everything is temporary. So as long as it’s for the better, then go.””
Meanwhile, the 2009 Miss Philippines-Fire said that she’s up for whatever she faces at work.
“Challenge accepted, I’m up for challenges. And since hosting ako back then, siguro try natin different ano, more on acting. But there’s always a room for improvement. I still need to enhance or hone my acting skills.”
For more than a year, Patricia became one of the mainstays of “Eat Bulaga” and she was even dubbed as the “HBD Girl” as she used to host the daily birthday greeting segment of the variety show. It was earlier this year that she was rumored to have quit the program, while there were claims that her leaving the longest-running show was because of her fellow host Alden Richards.
According to rumors, Patricia and Alden had a relationship though this speculation was shut down by the beauty queen’s former fellow host Allan K.
